About the artist
My name is Hailey Mae Scott. I am a self-taught artist who grew up in a small town in Southeastern Colorado with big dreams of making an impact in the art field! My passion for creating cannot be traced back to one particular moment but rather it is something that has always been apart of who I am. As long as I can remember, I have loved everything artsy! Whether it was crafting, molding modeling clay, sketching, or painting, I would be set up at our kitchen table creating anything I could get my hands on! As I started maturing I found myself gravitating more and more towards painting and it quickly became my art of choice.
I am very thankful art is able to reach every corner of the Earth and that I was able to take my passion with me when my family ventured up to Alaska. While in my junior year of high school I starting dating my husband, Ryan, and the adventures only continued from there! We made our way down to Washington right after we married, then back up to Alaska, then down to Northern California, and finally back to up to Alaska again! With our last move home, we did add one more member to our Scott Squad, our daughter Bobbie Sue! I like to think my art is a small reflection of our travels, recounting some of the beautiful things we have seen along the way!
